Welcome to the Wonderful World of Childrens CraftsWhat could be more rewarding then sharing your love of crafts with your children? The childrens crafts in this section are fun and easy to make. They require very little for supplies other than some basic art supplies, flowers, herbs, seeds, leaves and other items easily found in your own back yard, your imagination and creativity, and the desire to teach your children something new and exciting. Who knows you may even learn something from them, like how to look at your garden or your backyard through their eyes.
Living in New England, I see the trees change color every fall. Sit a young child and adult side by side and ask them to draw a tree. Most likely the adult’s tree will be green with a brown trunk and brown branches. Now look at the other picture; is it red and purple with blue branches or maybe yellow and green with orange spots?
Spend a day crafting with your children and put the color and creativity back in your own creations! Remember even in real life trees are not always green with brown branches!
